We immediately took him to the InstaCare down the street. He was x-rayed and checked for signs of concussion (he did a little dance for the doctor when she wanted to see him walk, so she decided he was just fine in the head department!). The x-ray showed what looked like a hairline fracture in Oliver's left wrist, so he was casted up to his elbow. Oliver loved getting the cast put on. He laughed the whole time. I think he's so proud to be a rough-and-tumble boy - showing off his battle wounds!
They asked us to come back in two days to be rechecked and for a more permanent cast to be put on his arm. When we returned, they decided his arm wasn't broken after all, merely sprained. So we were able to come home cast free! Kinda weird, but I'm just thankful he's okay and we don't have to deal with a casted arm!
But this is the only picture we got of him with his cute little cast. You can barely notice that his little left arm has a cast on it. We thought we'd have several months to be snapping pictures!
