Our little boy is four months old today!!!! Crazy!! On one hand it doesn't seem like it's already been four months, but on the other hand it seems like I've always had him, so it's weird that it's only been four months. Here's a glimpse at how much he's grown and changed over the last four months!Oliver was born April 29th, 2008 at 7:21 AM. I had a pretty easy labor and delivery. It was almost exact
ly 7 hours from my first contraction until Oliver was born. He weighed 5 lbs 9 oz and was 18 3/4 in. Here's a picture of him when he was just a few minutes old! He has all the eye junk they had just put on him and his hands are even still bluish!

He has all the eye junk they had just put on him and his hands are even still bluish! We tried to have Enoc's brother take pictures of Oliver when he was about a week old, but he wanted none of that!!! He cried so much the first two months. If he wasn't sleeping, he was crying! LOL! He HATED breastfeeding from day one and he also had pretty bad acid reflux (which is probably why he hated breastfeeding). As soon as I stopped trying to give him that scary "monster boob" and his acid reflux cleared up, he was a different baby! But we definitely were not able to get any cute naked newborn pics!

He's grown so much! These were preemie clothes and they were huge on him!
The only way we used to be able to get him to stop crying was to bounce him on the yoga ball (a rocking chair or swing did not work!) and to let him suck on our thumbs!

It was so rewarding when Oliver started to make eye contact, smile and laugh! He laughs and uses his voice so much now! I LOVE IT!!! (Despite the look of sheer horror and/or pain on his face in the last picture, that is actually a pic of him cracking up laughing!!)
And, of course, Oliver has always been so sweet and cuddly when he's sleeping. He's extremely active, so he mostly wants to jump and play now when he's awake. But he's all snuggles come nap and bed time!
Anyway, it's just nuts how much he's changed and grown. He's been such a blessing to us - he's already teaching us so much! We can't wait to see how he continues to change and grow!

Those pics are all way cute! It's hard to believe he's four months old already. I swear you just had him. Time definitely goes by way too fast with kids.
We totally used an exercise ball with our daughter, too. She was a good baby and rarely cried, but there were still some days when that was the only thing that would soothe her. It's a great little mom secret!
